Good domain names can be hard to find especially with over 30 million .com, .net and .org domains registered. Most of the good ones seem to be taken. The domain expired process is not an instantaneous event. Depending on the registrar you can find a different process of deleting domains. Some registrars give their customers very little leeway. They will choose to delete domain names within ten days of expiry date. Others might hold on to names for longer periods of time, sometimes 30 to 45 days. Still others might not release domain names until they release large batches at irregular or regular intervals.
